Play Readers will meet Oct. 28

Play Readers of Denton will meet Tuesday, Oct. 28, at 7 pm at the Campus Theatre to read a play out loud.

We hear congratulations are in order for several Play Readers, but until we get an official cast list for A Christmas Carol, we can't name any names!

The next meeting for Playwrights of Denton is planned for Nov. 18 at 7 pm, but we'll need some male readers.

Playwrights is CANCELED Oct. 15

Due to the double whammy of Best Man rehearsals (with a huge number of our Play Readers, especially men, cast) and auditions for Christmas Carol on Tuesday night, Play Readers and Writers is officially a victim of our own success--and we'll have to postpone reading Claud's new draft until Nov. 18!

Play Readers will meet Oct. 28 at 7 pm at the Campus Theatre to read a play out loud.

Play Readers will meet Oct. 7

Play Readers will next meet Tuesday, Oct. 7, at 7 pm at the Campus Theatre to read a play out loud. Depending on attendance, we should read A Christmas Carol on either Oct. 7 or Oct. 13 (or both) in advance of auditions Oct. 20 & 21. Play Readers will meet Sept. 23


Play Readers will meet Sept. 23 (at 7 pm at the Campus Theatre) to read a play out loud.Two weeks ago, we read Gore Vidal's The Best Man again in anticipation of auditions on Sept. 15 and 16. Congratulations to Play Readers John Rodgers, Susanne Coffey, Johnny and Amber Bryant, Johnny Williams, Karen Gossett, Wes Porter, Bryan Thomas Patrick, and Dan Creson, who have all been cast in the show! And it's so wonderful that the show is directed by Play Reader Brad Speck and Assistant Directed/Stage Managed by Dennis Welch.
