Play Readers will NOT meet April 30!
Play Readers of Denton will NOT meet April 30, because it's the 5th Tuesday in a month. We will next meet May 7 at 7 pm at the Campus Theatre
to read a play out loud. Last week, we read Jane Martin's Jack and Jill, and then Franky Gonzalez' Popsicle Kisses.

Auditions will be Saturday, April 27 and Sunday, April 28 at 2 pm at the Campus Theatre for two short scripts which will receive readings at DCT's Method and Madness Playwriting Festival May 30-June 1. These readings are a great way to work on a show with shorter rehearsal periods and less memorization!
A special "Thank you" to all the Play Readers who volunteered to help at the Clean Up the Campus Day last week: Jessica Phillips; Damon Wadyko; Johnny Williams; Jim Laney; Philip Lamb; Dennis Welch; Elsie Barrow; Pete and Tom Kelly; and Jaime Rodriguez--you really make DCT shine!

Playwrights of Denton will meet April 16
Playwrights of Denton will meet April 16 at 7 pm at the Campus Theatre. We have a new script by Franky Gonzalez to read, and will need 2 readers to play the father and daughter in the play.

The April 13 Second Saturdays Seminar will be a hands-on workshop about putting together a staged reading. Second Saturdays Seminars run 1-3 pm at the Campus Theatre, and they're free!
The King and I finishes its sold-out run at the Campus Theatre this weekend--hope you saw it or already have your tickets, because there's not a single ticket available for the three remaining shows.
Congratulations to Play Readers Dennis Welch, Kevin Wickersham, Mike Strecher, Robert Ize, Brad Speck, Polly Maynard, Bryan Patrick, John Rodgers, and Johnny Williams, who have all been cast in DCT's MainStage production of Sly Fox!
