Play Readers will meet August 26 (at 7 pm at the Campus Theatre)
to read a play out loud. We need to read Gore Vidal's The Best Man soon (and maybe more than once, if people want to), and will need a fairly large group (the script calls for 12 M, 6 W) if we don't want to feel completely schizophrenic. Would you email thedctteam@campustheatre.com if you're planning to attend Aug. 26, Sept. 2, and/or Sept. 9 so we can plan the best day(s) for this? Auditions will be Sept. 15 and 16 for this MainStage production directed by Play Reader Brad Speck.
Playwrights of Denton is on hiatus for the summer, so keep writing,
everybody! The next meeting is scheduled for September 16, and we've got a revised script to read from Playwright Claud Singer--so play readers and well as writers are welcome!
